What is Clark?

Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Catherine Wheel and Elizabeth Hortonsphere all started the same way; a band name with a person's name that eventually became the name of the singer. Now, the origin of Clark's name has become a matter on which many people have commented. "What is Clark," they ask. "No one in the band is named Clark and it's not an acronym for anything, so what's the deal?"

In fact, Clark's clever Web designer also begged the question and posted Clark's site under the URL whatisclark.com.

So - What indeed is Clark and it's name? THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE WAS NEITHER HOLY NOR ROMAN, DISCUSS.

Many have tried to unlock the mystery behind the band's name. Rumors state that it is the name of the Las Vegas high school where the band met. Some believe it is the bands undying fanaticism for Smallville. Others argue that it is the name of the group’s archenemy.

Popular opinion is that “Clark” is a tribute to the band’s most favoritest person in the whole wide world, however, there is much disagreement about who that lucky person might be.
